Banging rear axel

Hi,

I posted a topic a while ago about a "Strange knocking". Well now I know the loud bangs are coming from the exhaust bracket hitting against the rear axel.

I have laid down whilst others pushed on the car and this is what makes the noise, but when I go the garage, they simply seem to deny it.

Im going again today to prove that it is that (I have to go to charlie browns because I have a guarantee with them).

I was jsut wondering, is there actually anything they can do to increase the gap between the axel and exhaust?
I dont want to get annoyed with them if there is actually nothing they can do.

Thank you for any replies :)

i have the same problem, i got told there is nothing much that can be done. i got fed up in the end and tie wrapped a old motorbike innertube to the axel. it stops the sound of the banging

try rotating the back box some times that will lift it slightly, orr try and bend your metal mount points down a bit possibly...
