Corsa 1.0 (5 Door)

Just over a month ago I bought this Corsa Merit for our lass to learn to drive in. Full Vauxhall service history and only 34k proven miles for £750. Just planning on tinkering a bit and mostly adding subtle mods. The first pics are from the day we bought it! (clean and tidy with no signs of rust or damage)
Although so far had to replace the MAF, brake pads, clean the throttle body and have the ECU cleared.
After searching through the forum I picked up on the most common (easiest)
mods... Changed to clear side repeaters, de-badged grill.
Plus gave the car the standard shampoo, t-cut and wax treatment. (also a good few layers of back to black on the bumper trim)
The next step was to debage the whole car (Vauxhall, Corsa, LS badges etc). Our lass wanted a custom badge added too... "Nao" short for Naomi btw
I`ve just finished stripping a lot of the interior trim today, as far as sanding and priming. Going for Star Silver finish and hoping to get it back together for the weekend. Unfortunatly I can`t remove the centre console due to some wiring which I think is for the alarm? (its on the ventilation slider toward the left if you look at the dash pic above) The last time I played with wiring I painfully lost a toenail (long story) .. but I`m never keen on playing with electrics.
Future plans include a suitable 5-door spoiler, tinted glass and most probably 14" alloys (in place of the 13" trims), colour coded mirrors. Undecided on removing the door trims. I have seen some very dodgy looking attempts driving around!

nice looking car mate, youd be better of gettin 15s but keep it vauxhall, i.e corsa c sxi's, or something along those lines. and for the centre console there should be a guide kicking about somewhere for it, colour code the mirrors and exterior handles and boot lock, maybe de-wiper it, and maybe get a small exhaust, maybe a sportex one or something, its easy to get one, and get a k&n panel filter, just to keep it simple. hope this helps a bit lol

Yeah thanks - will scour ebay and have a look at the corsa c alloys. I do plan to colour code a few exterior bits and pieces. Just ordered some blue leds for dash, heater etc. Hopefully get some new pics up this weekend. As for the centre console - I`ll take a closer pic to highlight the problem. If it wasn`t for this alarm "thing"? I would be able to remove it...

Well finally re-fit all the bits and pieces that have been sprayed... Trying to replace the steering section without damaging the new paintwork is almost impossible!! Anyway, here`s the pics.
Whilst everything was in bits, replaced the bulbs with blue leds. (you can just make it out on the radio display)
Along with the blue leds added some chrome dial rings. (Annoying to fit but well worth it I think)
Your standard "before and after" shot

Jamie: bought them off ebay. Roughly £15 for the set... They are up there for much cheaper but I figured if I was taking all this to bits it was worth buying good ones
My only problem was the glass front was glued on so I had to bend the rings out of shape to get them through the back... quite a pain in arse.. but yeah I think they look good too
