Hi this is my first post
I drive a 1.4 Corsa B Sri , the problem im having is when i start her up the rev needle bouncies and sometimes when im
sitting at lights or a junction the engine will die on me,(coasting is a no no-cause she dies on me) so from reading the
forums am i right to asume its the idle control??also while driving along say 25-30 mph the rev counter suddenly hits
zero and the car jolts like shes choking o.O is this connected to the idle control ?? the car also does the kangaroo dance
yes embarrasing while in public.

ps:Im not allowed to sell the car cause my girl has fell in love with it lol awe

ok Rob, im no mechanic but keep trying to help peeps on thier threads with the same old probs and most have been helpfull, its only cos ive been driven mad with the same probs and narrowed it down after replacing parts, this same prob for me was the crankshaft sensor, you can get one for a tenner at a good scrappy, its worth eliminating cos its a common fault, along with the MAF , cam sensor, EGR valve and air idle control valve, i reckon if they stuck on an old distributer with points, corsa's would be ace lol.
