Hi there, i have had my 1.4 sport for a while now, and have just done a major service including head gasket, cambelt, altrenator belt, aircon pump, new oil, filter, and all required gaskets. The problem now is that there is excessive oil in the breather system, including a considerable ammount in throttle body, and intake manifold. can anyone shed some light on what this might be and ways to solve it. i am thinking along the lines of crankcase... cheers in advance to any replies.

was there sludge in your engine from the headgasket going? if so it will have been push out the engine through your manifold and into your throttle body

there was sludge in the larger breather pipe which i noticed when i took it apart from the head going i presume. there was only a bit of oil residue on the intake manifold and throttle body when i took it apart. then after it was run i took it apart because it wasnt running right, then saw the pooling of oil in throttle body, and oil in the intake. so it is after the start up that the oil went through this. could the oil breather being blocked force it to cause this?
