first of all what engine have you got? as if its a 1.4 or 1.6 16v you can easily put the hydraulic power steering on as they did come on them as standard, but a 1.0 you would have to get electronic power steering which is not cheap... and a pain in the arse to change as you'l have to swap steering columns, but as for a 1.2 im not sure... which one would be best.

or i have heard of people getting a electric hydraulic pump of a saxo is it? and using the corsa hydraulic power steering rack, but mounting the pump up next to the battery tray somewhere. but you'd have to have confirmation on that, google is your best bet on that subject.

well, to be honest, iv got / did have a 1.2 8v and after i lowered it and put alloys on the steering was really light anyway, and with vauxhall steering i cant see the point with power steering as they're about as good as each other i think. lol but thats my opinion.
