Hi, my car isn't going into of the gears smoothly even when i put force on the gear stick. Im just wondering what the problem is..
Is it the clutch cable ?
Do i have to lubricate the gears somehow ?
my car has only done 19400 miles (year 2000) so surely it cant be something major ?
Please help.

it might be no gearbox oil or the gears are ruined, i would prob say clutch or gearbox mate, never really had that problem, would check the oil in gearbox and clutch fluid,

Possibly the gear linkage? If it feels loose, and sloppy, and the gearstick moves about a lot when in gear, it may well be. This is some advice i found on trying to sort it.
