As u might already know last year i had a corsa and i wrote it off into a van in november last year. since then i aint had a car as i can't afford it or the insurance with a claim

unfortunately my dad recently has damaged his shoulder meaning he can't drive for long distances and therefore can't take me or my mum 2 see my grandad and struggles to even take her 2 the shop (she dont drive). we were thinking of trying to add me 2 his insurance policy for a couple of months 2 help out until his shoulder gets better but due to the claim still being open (more than business are taking an age to send my company the documents) they are unable 2 insure me. short of just waiting for this 2 get resolved which probably wont be till after summer when im at uni is there any way of getting temport car insurance cover for me?

im 18 but most of these temp ones ive looked at u gotta be 24 or 25 b4 u can get them

is there any option i can go thru here to try and help my dad out?

btw my dads car is only a little '05 plate 1.2 8 valve fiat punto - not anything 2 high on the insurance

thanks in advance every1 :)

ive got temp insurance on my gf's 05 plate 1.4 peugeot 206, for only £27.50 a month, and i only just turned 20 today, so im not like over 25 lol, i got my gf to ring her insurance and add me as a named driver, it worked that way, give it a go?

Try www.ecarinsurance.co.uk for some good deals on short-term insurance ;) They're very competitive with thier prices and as they dont have call centres, they could offer the cheapest price.
