Hello i am making a custom set of lights by taking 2 sets apart and painting the chrome backing black would this be legal and has anybody got pictures of the results ?

ive changed my mind now...im painting them the colour of the car rather than black so they will blend in better and have an overall better effect hopefully

what colours the car? ive always wanted to paint the insides of mine kawasaki green lol
