Hi,

Sorry for the really simple question but I dont seem to be able to find any pics anywhere to explain what I mean.

I was thinking about buying a sun strip for my corsa but all I see is the vinyl ones. On my dads skoda the sun strip part is see through and looks as though it is part of the windscreen.

Does anybody know how much they are? The vinyl ones block all light through them

(I looked on a website and saw they had "reflective" and "normal" sun strips. Could the one on my dads car be reflective?)

i think i know what you mean on my old corsa there was a see through blue strip across the top is it like that?

yeh i think thats the one u mean m8 - like the sunstrip is actually the screen. its a blue tint one on a corsa and looks good - my gfs car has got one.

not sure which models came with them tho

i think the envoys did

i had a montanna and that had the built in sun strip

yeah you can get them tho they kinda fade out so you get that kinda opaque effect

Thanks for replies. Yeah the ones on ebay are them yeah. And yeah it looks like part of the screen like the picture. Does anybody know (other than the one from ebay) if you have to get a new windscreen?

m8 if thur is any were nere you that tints windows theyl do it 4 u.. jst tel them wat u want! i ad 1 on mines and it cost me £30.00 quid but if you get it 2 far dwn ur window itl b an mot fail

yeah there is "gateway autotints". £30 is easy within budget, better than paying £10 for a vinyl one. Cheers mate. I know i could have found this stuff out myslef but opinions are always better than prices.
