cool running stat would help but is your fan cutting in all the time ,if its not then it sounds like your temp sensor is probably reading wrong . i have an x20xev in my corsa and its running on the standard radiator and runs as it should i think i would give the system a flush and then check the circulation it might just be the thermostat is only partially opening try it without one and see if it cools down

i might have to swap the temperature sensor on my 1.4 16v i bought saturday, something didnt seem right with the temperature when i bought it home, so i started it tonight and the temperature seems to go up to about like 95 96 degs and the fan doesnt come on... so i turned it off quick lol so im guessing something aint quite right, would you think mine would be the water temperature sensor? shall i swap it with the one out of my 1.2 corsa?

i checked my corsa over again, as when i was running my 1.2 8v she never got over the 90degs, but my 1.4 does all the time, and i was getting worried
but i looked in the haynes manual and it says the first fan kicks in at 100degs and the second at 105 and i checked my corsa again and let it get up that high and they do kick in
so thats saved me alot of hastle, now iv got them working its time to check out why the air con doesnt work
