help please guys
hey lads,
I gotta 95 x14xe. I gotta problem with the immobiliser which I cant sort out, my chip from my key went walkies so i got a new chip and the pass from vauxhall, they tried to program it and it wouldnt work cause the ecu has been changed at some point, now I have been trying to find a replacement ecu transponder and reciever from another car and cant get one with the same ecu code. I have been told aslong as the ecu has the same amount of pins it will work regardless of the codes, I dont think this is true but I wanna know if it can be done just so I can start my car again
cheers

Re: help please guys
I have tried all the scrappies in my local area and they all say the same thing "sorry mate we dont break them", pain in the feckin ass aint they lol
I have checked on ebay for people breaking them but none of them have the same ecu code and Im not sure if the code off another ecu would have to be the same as mine, I have found plenty of ecu's with transponder and reciever but none have the same code as my ecu, is that a problem? do the codes have to match?
I dont know how to bypass the immobiliser mate, if you do could you please pm me a guide on how to do it?
Cheers for your help lads

im unsure on the codes matching tbh dont really know much about in depth eletrics but bypassing the emobiliser isnt tht hard to do really ! its only a case of crossing over the wires ! il try and find where they are on your moter wt model is it ?

Re: help please guys
what im thinkin is that someone has changed the ecu from a completly different model..so phone vauxhall and ask if you can get another 1.4 ecu and put it straight on

I rang vauxhall and they said I can only get a new ecu at a cost of £200-£300 and that ecu's cant be taken from one car and put on another car. (they obviously just want me to spend daft money with them or the guy on the phone didnt have a clue)jordyp wrote:what im thinkin is that someone has changed the ecu from a completly different model..so phone vauxhall and ask if you can get another 1.4 ecu and put it straight on
I have checked a list of ecu codes in the corsa x14xe range and the code on my ecu matched in the list to corsa b x14xe ecu's lol.
