Painting Engine..
Hi,
Replacing head gasket this week (not me my mate) and I just wondered which parts of the engine would be paintable whilst it is stripped down to the gasket.
Iv never seen this done before so I dont know which parts of the engine will have to come out and hence, be painted.
Would you share your opinions as to which bits I should paint and also, if possible, the best way to ahcieve the best quality finish.
Here is a pic of the engine just in case lol:

Re: Painting Engine..
wudnt bother tbh mate, if your gona paint aka detail your engine bay you hav to go all the way with it or it jst looks poo.
heres how a proper detailed engine bay looks
thats liams (bluecorsab) engine bay. thats an old pic its even cleaner now. any one that has seen it in person will tell you its VERY impressive, and any one thats driven it (like me ) will tell you it drives and pulls very well too
OCD FTW!!!!!!!

OFFICAL DVLA DATA:
1414 - corsa gsi's on the road in 2008.
735 - corsa gsi's currently on the road and 436 SORN
Basicly you would have to be a right tw*t to break one for parts
Thanks to everyone for an awsome weekend at pvs!
