Just making sure but are all cavalier fan blades 205 R15? With et of 49? This sounds rather wide for the ET that's all...

they are usually 205 series tyres on a calibra yes but tyres size isnt important, ET49 is normal

and you want either 195/45/15 or 185/55/15 on them wheels on a corsa to stop scrubbing

nope it would scrub like a biatch  i test fitted some slabs off a calibra to mine a while ago and they were fitted with 205 series tyres, got the wheels on, dropped the car back on the floor and the tyres touch the arches, on the back they touch so bad that the tyres were rubbing against the nuts that hold the arches on, but you know how low mine is at the back so...... so it wouldnt take long for it too scrub a groove in the tyres

if you had a lot of arch work done like a wide arch kit you could piss 205 series tyres  would probably have to go for 225 series or lower ET to make it look good.....

but on a standard corsa......big no no

what if i used my narrowed rear beam of my other corsa i could fit the 205 under then, i managed to fit my 17's which were 205 under, but they were et34 or something...

in that case i'l have three 195 wheels and two 205 wheels, so has anyone got just ONE four stud 195 wheel that i can have or buy? :D

behind the hub is a spacing plate, you usually cut it off and replace it when swapping to discs, but i cut it off and make about a two 1.5mm plates at work instead, then i sandwiched the rear beam between two metal plates, i only drove on it for about a week then i dropped the engine out lol so are you 100% sure i cant fit ET49 205's under my rear arches with a lovely heavy drop on the back :(

now bearing in mind thats got a flat tyre and the suspension hasnt settled because the car was still on stands at the front so would go lower than that and i couldnt even get my fingers in the arch thats how tight it was

not saying it will scrub but judging on how it looked on my car i guessed it would
