1.8 vectra

theres a 1.8 ecotec vectra at the place im gettin a work trial, sat for about a year, would it just be the same principles as the 2.0 vectras? i was gna ask him if i can get it for engine gearbox ecu n wiring and would the brakes be a direct fit? i really want to do it

if its an early vectra then yes its just a sleeved down x20xev as for the brakes then if its got 4 stud wheels the brakes will bolt straight on to a corsa ,the whole thing would be ideal for a corsa transplant would only need a differant gear box driveshafts and front engine mount

nah its 5 stud, and its a newer shape one, not new one but 02 plate, why would i need a different gearbox? what can i get gearbox/driveshafts and brakes of off? im gna mot my car not next week but week after :d

you got a picture of the engine so i know which one it is then i can tell you what you need to do etc

i found a post on corsasport,
