i have just bought a gsi spoiler off ebay got it for a pound! it has a few scratches so am going to respray, the spoiler is grey at the moment so should i just spray it with a few coats off star silver?? also should i use metallic paint or just normal? and how many coats of paint do people recommend.

Also to fit the spoiler can i just bond on with some no more nails or do you have to use waterproof sealant?

Cheers,

im not too sure bout the painting part because ive never done it. but to fit it, but id rub it down, primer, paint , laquer just to get it looking as good as can be. im sure someone on here said there mate used no more nails. im not sure if i would trust the stuff tbh but if it works it works. you can just screw them on if u want them safe and secure. See what other people think about the fitting.

did u get the backing plate with it?

if you did then it shud just screw on and then abit of tiger seal round the edges to bond it on.

tiger seals the stuff to use
