When i turn the wheel over a certain amount, you can feel a click through the cloumn, as if something has just given way, or bent. Its quite worrying tbh and i was wondering if anybody may have any suggestions to what it might be, or how to fix it.
Also, everytime i turn right with any mild force, the handbrake warning light comes on. again any help would be so useful
cheers guys

Re: Steering problems
Check your brake fluid level... the handbrake light is also the brake fluid light and as you turn it might be lowering an already low level enough to register. I found this out one day by ignoring the light thinking it was a sensor failure on the handbrake. Down side - getting towed home on a sunny day. Up side - getting pizza delivered to a broken down car at the side of the road while waiting on recovery, that took some chat with Dominos and in the end I had to pay before they would deliver but they did deliver in the end! Also, every time i turn right with any mild force, the handbrake warning light comes on
