Right so Dunc has some alloys i want but there wrong offset. and will rub on arches. i hav 40mm springs n shocks. The tyres on them are *195/55/r15. Is there ANYTHING i can do to get these to fit without rubbing different tyres or wtever?

due to the whole external diameter being that the same of 17's due to the tyre size that its running thats restricting how low you can go reeli, but all you have to do its get a hammer and tap the inside of the arches out a little bit, just remove the plastic trim and then bang it out about 1cm, i had to do it to my old red corsa, but what would be best is to run 195/45/R15 tyres, then the whole car would sit lower aswell.

will thes defo not rub if i got them tyres?

that would most certainly help anyway, but with stiffened rear struts and springs, etc and if you do a bit of arch work you can make anything fit! but because they're not ET49 vauxhall wheels you will always find some trouble with them.

Ahh okay mate, i understand now., Cheers anyway bud! Might just wait until a set comes up that will definatly fit my drivin instructor is fully booked till next year so i wont be spendn my money on him. might get brand new set. want white 5 spoke but not sure best ones to get.
