fan not kicking in

fan not kicking in
got 1.2 8v corsa fan isnt kicking in, bridged it and it came on so what cna be the problem?

i replaced the fan switch, got switch and rubber thing on bonnet for windscreen water, for £2 from scrappies

think so was at work when i done it and it was doing my head in the car was running for ages so got bored and turned the car off lol but should be fine lol
