whats better, straight through system or just a back box and why?

Straight through is alot louder but are not always legal. Depends if u buy a full system or a back box and a pipe. If u just get a backbox its not as loud but still gives it a good noise even from a distance. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=beJn4MajyRc theres mine with just a backbox.
