Blown Gasket :(

Right im new here obviously. so HI :D
and im in the middle of a head gasket change of a 1.6 16v corsa b sport engine code x16xe :meh: and i am just looking for tips on what people have had experiences in.
ive got the head bolts lossend ready to come of i have the exhaust manifold off i have the cam belt off.
i have the blue plug unplugged and other wires pipes removed
now i have one head bolt tht is rounded off and i do need some tips on how to get tht out :( ?
also is there anything i missed all and any help would be apreciated :D

that sounds like everything to be honest mate, that bolt sounds like the hardest bit, havent you got yourself some female torx bits?

yeah i do it was rounded before from tightening which makes me worry if they were even in right :/

ah right, if you need some spare head bolts im sure i have some spare ones here from a 1.4 16v i split so i could send you one or two if you pay for postage, stick some photos of your car up in the your projects section :) we'l love to see it and follow along with your problems :)

will they fit ?

and can i reuse the ones ive got ?

yea you can re-use the ones you already have, but means as you say one or two are rounded then obviously you cant :lol: but the 1.4 and 1.6 16v engines are exactly the same so i can only guess that so are the head bolts,

do you have the cam end tht the sensor ..... senses ? or did u put it back together. lol and i need some orings :/ ill get some pics up tomorow :)

yea iv got a spare cam with lobes on aswell, thats all engine bits iv got, i scrapped the rest like a stupid badger i was thinking i would never own a 1.4 16v :meh: but i actually do own one now :lol:

if you send me 3 bolts to be safe ill give you a fiver :D

and tht cam your on about you know then end whith the blades on the bit the belt drives a bit snaped off so i need a new one do you have tht thts what i ment by cam :P

yea haha im not paying much attention sorry :lol: the IT crowd was on, yea i know what you mean i dont know why i wrote what i did, but yea i do have a spare cam pulley with lobes,

where abouts are you from? and paypal is easiest way of payment so say £10 for three bolts and the pulley delivered? i'l have to make sure the pulley still in good condition and still their as i hung it up in the shed well thats the last place i saw it anyway :lol:
