ive got a 1.6 8v engine at work from an old cavy its dizzy type engine, it ran sweet as a nut when it was brought out the car, but its only the engine, will i have to get a wiring loom for it? and will i use the f16 gearbox and 1.6 cavy hubs, brakes, driveshafts? oh and will the front engine mount be the same, its not a lamba sensor on it so what will i do about that?

im sure if its an early engine then they didnt have lambda sensors...? and i think you should be alright using your standard drive shafts due to only the 2.0 and v6 having to have the larger drive shafts, and the engine mounts should be the same as whats in your corsa now, and you will only need a loom if its a fuel injection system, or you could swap and run carbs and you wont need a ECU, just want someone else to talk on this aswell but thats what i understand of it... duno if im 100% right tho...

awryt, and yeah they didnt have them on early engines, but im just confused about if i use a cav wiring loom itd go straight into existing wiring loom for ecu, and would the ecu no go off its head if its no got a lamba sensor? i want to try keep the work done to a minimum as i dont want to spend ages at it, would i be able to use my gearbox or would it just rip the gearbox to shreds? its a 1.2 8v whats in my car atm
