fuel leak

Hi all,
Just picked up my new corsa 1.6 sport, I spent Friday having the cambelt done and the ridiculously priced accessory belt tensioner which was humming like a good'un!! Then Saturday I removed the reversing buzzer (I know, why would you ever), removed the locking nuts that I did not have the key for (3 hours of chisel work) balanced the wheels and sorted the tracking which was 12mm out!!!
I then went to drive home in my newly sorted car, stopped for fuel and filled the tank for the first time only to watch about 5 litres slowly deposit itself over the petrol forecourt.
Incidentily, however depressing this sounds the fumes meant I could not help smiling )
Took the car back to my work and up on a ramp and after a bit of searching removed the sender inpection panel to find it was covered in fuel, so am assuming the seal has gone around the sender. Has anyone ever replaced one of these? I have never taken a sender out but there are various guides on internet.
I assume there is a rubber seal inside to make it fume tight? can anyone confirm this and does anyone know where I may get one or will it just be a dealer job??
Thanks
Nic
