Corsa-B.uk - Vauxhall, Opel and Holden Corsa B Owners Club

Hi all i'm new on here, had a major problem today while fitting new door speakers. The alarm went off & shorted out,now engine will start but will not turn off even with the key out. I had to stall the engine, all the dash lights are on with the ign off.
Ended up disconnecting the battery for now. Does anybody know if the alarm can just be disconnected.
