Corsa Stereo

Hello Just recently bought a Corsa Club Xreg. Fitted an Alba stereo from Argos and now the display where it says the time date and temp does come up.. Well it does but only when ive got my lights on and doesnt stay at one certain time.
I think i need an adaptor or something but dont have a clue what they are called or where to get them from.
Please please can you help me..

with an after market radio you wont get your date working when the radio is on it will just be blank, until the radio is turned off then it will be on, BUT you should always have the time and the temperature gauge.

But the date doesnt even come up nothing comes up until i put my lights on

oh right, urmmm thats weird i dont know how any of that display wiring works sorry mate.

my mate has exactly the same thing... really really weird. the only thing i cud suggest is check the connector is in right on the back of the mfd, check there are no splits in the cables behind the mfd and check the fuses

best advice ive got - its blagged me and my mate for months lol

Hey mate can't help with your problem, but pricer said about you won't get date working if you have a after market radio fitted... I have a after market radio and all of the mfd works in my car the time date and temp.. All works with or without radio on.. I dunno how or why but it does... Sorry I can't help with your problem but just thought I'd put it out there that it is possible to have it all working
