Sorry to create another topic but this one is more focused just on the gear stick.
My new gear knob has arrived and it is suposed to slide over the gear stick but it doesnt fit. This is what I was left with when i removed the old gear knob.
Is this correct or do i need to remove this to allow the new one to fit.
Thanks for any replies

Re: Removing gear stick
right wots happened is u have pulled your gear knob off but left the little size adapter bit that sits in the bottom of your gear knob. pull that bit off and u shud see a metal rod with a spring on. then u slide your new one on.
OFFICAL DVLA DATA:
1414 - corsa gsi's on the road in 2008.
735 - corsa gsi's currently on the road and 436 SORN
Basicly you would have to be a right tw*t to break one for parts
Thanks to everyone for an awsome weekend at pvs!
