hey jus got some tigra vented brakes, for my corsa b 1.0, im now looking at lowering it 60mm so i have a few questions
1) (not to do with suspension) what pads should i go for? ive been looking at green stuff but a few friends have had problems with them coming off the plate
2) can i lower it 60mm without needing to shave arches i got 195/45/16s on may go up to 205 avons,
3) what suspension is best to go for ive been looking at the sportex coilovers but theres jus standard lowering springs for 70 on ebay atm so thats swaying me for that any help people?
cheers
all upgrades are handling before i drop a c20let or xe in it if i can get hold of a full block

Re: pads and suspension
for a redtop you NEED coilovers so you can adjust the height to allow for the weight of the engine, i bought the basic ones of ebay for £160 they worked a treat, and i'd go for green stuff tbf iv never used them but if i was going to choose a set thats what i'd go for. and lowering all depends on the offset of the wheels that you are running, what are they? if they're vauxhall, then you'l have to keep to 195 width because they WILL scrub, as i have fan blades with 205's on the rear and they scrub, but they were on their when i bought them, so im waiting for them to wear down then i'l put 195 45 on again.
