de-badging/trimming

hey im looking at getting a badgeless grill and removing the trim off the side, first of all will it affect my insurance? and secondly how di i go about removing the trim off the doors?

Will do nothing to insurance. And if u want the quickest way to get trim off. Get some dental floss or fishing line. Keep wiggling it up nd down behind the trim to cut the adhesive. Get some wd40 and spray on the strips of adhesive. Then get a window scraper ( for taking ice off the windows) and scrape it off. Really really easy. did mine yesterday. And no it wont scratch the paint :)

Orr heat it up with hair dryer then pull it off, and then t-cut does same job aswell as buff the paint up underneath :) orr buy a toffee wheel of ebay they do a good job :)

haha this is true bud but its my first car and im doing everything properly :P may as well pay for the insurance, the car was given off a family friend!

Heat trim with heat gun or hairdrier and it will pull off quite easy also leaving less ressidue to remove.

This will not effect insurance.
