anyone out there handy with metal? i need a sump guard/skid pan made up for my corsa, anyone able to do this?

best bet mate which is what im going to do and my boss has done, find a road sign and cut and bend to fit and bolt it to front cross member where the front stay bars bolt to and then self tapping screw it to the front of the chassis rails

i measured up yest im going to cut and shape it to my anti-roll bar, poss hold it on with exhaust clamps guna use 5mm thick steel as im pretty low to the floor and i hit my downpipes, sump/sump bung and bottom gearbox bolt on the floor lol

only thing is tho i was thinking the same as i scraped my exhaust manifold on the floor so i tacked on a piece of metal to where it scraped my manifold, and to be honest it made it worse because it made it sit even lower, wouldnt it just be easier to lift it slightly, orr lift it and put the guard on aswell?
