Spacers and wheel size

Post by ShadyJake »

Hi, I'm looking at putting spacers on my corsa and was wondering what size they need to be to look half decent.

I'm going for a DUB look, so my cars lowered 60mm, but i'm undecided between 14", 15" or 16" wheels. They will be deepdish.

Also, if anyones got any ideas on how to fit jap style number plates (without ruining the bumpers) on the front and back, or ideas would be greatful.

Thanks,

Spacers are a no no really, you can't tell because it all depends on your wheel size, because worng wheels scrub on a 40mm drop with no spacers, so 60mm with spacers will be awefull, unless you were running a decent stretch of tyres!
and for the plates on the front you could double side tape them on, and the same on the back aswell but on the back your going to have to mount a light so your going to spoil it which ever way you go, plus double sided tape doesn't work well on a straight plate on a curved surface. So yea... Better of screwing them on

Ok thanks, i've just gone and baught some extra wide arches. I'm not sure if this will help but if spacers arn't a good idea, then i wont go ahead with it.
I was looking into stretch tyres but im not really familiar with them. I'm looking into camber kits aswell but again im not familiar with them,,
Yeah i thaught screwing them on would be the better option :)
Thanks
