take the side plastics off mate, and put the saftey pin in the pre tensioner so it dont go bang in your face, and its torque bolts for the side covers, cant mind what size, and im positive its t55 torque bolts holding the seats on, beware there really tight, and when i done mine the bolt underneath is meant to be welded on but mine snapped so just had to get something to grab it to stop it moving

well i had a look at the seat and saw that it is held in the back with one torx screw and two retaining clips. or covers for bolts or what not. but the welded bit you are on about isnt that the guid rails itself. As far as the Haynes manual says it mentions not about welding anything. it says place fork in remove bolts etc and tilt forward to remove seat. lol I don't know why I made this thread. As far as I know the sub frame of the seats come off and the bottom frame which is held to the chassis stays.

awryt right jsut take the side covers off. put saftey fork in pre tensioner, and take the two torque bolts out. and lift and push forward. its really easy mate and for the welding bit its were the bolt nearest the doors underneath the car the nut for it is welding to the car so it doesnt move. dont worry about it mate lol
