Hi people it looks like my car may need a new clutch. The garages are really trying to charge me around £300 etc. I really would like to do this my self. I have never done a clutch before, but done things like axles springs etc. Could anyone please provide me with any tips at all? any instructions or just general tips? I will be getting a Haynes manual but sometimes its good for someone whos done one for a bit of advice.
Thanks
Anyone got any tips on fitting a clutch to a 1.7D

Hi,
Check out project logs on this forum. There is an excellent clutch job with lots of photos in there. Although the car is a petrol engine, it will still give you all the basics for doing the clutch on your corsa diesel.
Get down and dirty,
