where do i start....oh yes the start i have a corsa b 1.2 and last night my cv joint colapsed and on the way home (getting towed) i had my lights on with my hazards by the time we got home my battery was flat i charged the battery up as we fixed the cv joint. when i came to put the battery back on i tried to open my doors and the deadlocks were on i managed to crawl through the boot and tried to open them and this also faild so i went to start the engine and the red battery warning light was on and engine manigment light is flashing and now wont start even tried a new battery which got it started but then cut out now back to square 1. Anyone help please

your car wont start and stay running until you get the deadlock off the drivers door as it is immobilising the car...

The following might be of help to you,


Procedure

1. Switch on ignition; system will then remain in programming mode
for 30 seconds.

2. Briefly press any button on the remote control unit while the
unit is in the ignition.

3. The central locking system locks & unlocks to show that the
remote control has been programmed.

If this doesn't work, then get in touch as I have a way of bypassing the immobiliser, obviously not a good idea to show to all who read this forum, just in case there are a couple of joyriders on here.

what do you mean by the remote controll unit thanks
drivers door is still locked but now have the car running

my car was not charging so new altonater from scrappy for a tenner and it spot on and released my doors thanks
