Do corsa 1.0l engines have ECU?

Hello!.
I have a X Reg 1.0l Corsa b and wanted to know if it has a ECU like the new Corsa C models?
I know you can run a "paper clip" test to see weather there are any faults stored but can you do this on the 1.0l 12v? (Its an expression model therefore does not have PAS, or anything electrical really!

yes it will have an ecu, it shud be behind the kick pannel on the drivers side foot well.
and the diognostic plug for the paper clip test is in the fuse box next to your knee if you sit in the drivers seat.

i think the ecu's for 1L's are under neath the scuttle pannel actually

Is there proper software and an adapter you can buy to connect it up to like a normal laptop!?

you can buy cheap knock off ones off ebay for like 30-40 quid but they aint much gd, proper ones arent cheap at all. but a garage will charge you about 40 for a diognostics test.

Ah!,
Just got one on eBay for £15.
Do you think it will give me false information ? or just not very accurate ?

i've got one m8, they just dont like to connect to the ecu's. had mine connected once and its never connected again.
but if it dont work you can always send it back lol
