So I'm gonna be doing a engine service on my car some tym in the new year and have a question about spark plugs,
Been looking at dual electrodes and iridium plugs, they claim they improve acceleration, fuel consumption, emissions and all that.. But do they really?? Do any of you use them? Have you noticed any improvements? What do you personally think??

I have a 1999 1.2 sxi, so I no any gain in preformace will be minimal and to be honest i not looking for preforance, mainly for fule and running costs... I do 45 miles a day six days a week so use a lot of fuel so anything to reduce my costs would be good... Anything else you can suggest aswell...

Just for your info I have also brought

New oil filter
K&N panel filter ( brought new about 6 months ago so will just clean using there cleaning stuff)
Oil (Castrol to suit car spec)
Pre mixed all year coolant

i would suggest sticking with the same size and type of plugs that you already have, because some different plugs might be slightly longer and when fully in they might tap a piston or something... soo iv always kept with what was in the engine to start with.
