its a bit of a mission, remove midle vents, take off hazard/heated rear window switch, pull knob off air recirc panel, take air recirc panel off. undo 4 screws.

centre console should now pull out a bit, you should see the bulb holder (may need to pull a plug of wires from the back of it)

would suggest buying 3 x 1.3 from your local dealer before starting (bout £2?)

easier to follow with a haynes service an repair manual.

not a hard job, just fidley

like everyone said its not a hard jobjust fiddly. you\'ll need 2 bulbs for the center. i\'m not sure about the heated screen light coz thats inside the switch. theres also a light in the ash tray which takes the same size bulbs as the center console, if your not sure what size bulb you need its easyer to take that one out and go ask for \"3 of these\".
if you\'ve got a haynes i\'m pretty sure it shows how to do it, if you\'ve not got a haynes let me know and i\'ll scan the page for you

the bulbs are the same as the rest, mind you when mine went they were real difficult to get out, in fact i couldn\'t get the bulb out of the holder so i had to get a few of those as well.

how do you go about getting the actual clock/temp display out, i know there are two screws attaching it to something, but i need to know how to get the cover off so that i can remove these, is the cover attatched in anyway to the dash or does it just pop out?
cheers

You need 286t bulbs. The holders may vary, so just pull out the glass bit, and push it into your current holders.

These bulbs are good for anywhere in the dash of most cars.

you need to remove the two air vents and that will give you access to two screws that hold the display in place, remove those and you can lift the display out. To remove the actual display from the there are two more screws at the rear of the display housing to the left and right of the bulbs

cheers man, too late though lol i just pulled the bastard out and at this point i realised that there were two screws holding it in, all is good tho, the holes for the screws in the cover just broke slightly, it came out pretty easily and it just popped back on no bother lol. i wouldnt recomend this though.
