i noticed a few coilovers from ebay ranging from around 174-180 i was wonder would this be suitable for a c20xe conversion, as im looking at getting some for now as i doin the bodywork first then the engine after winter but i dnt want to spend my xmas money on suspension that would be on the car for long.

^^ bump. no1 using any of these coilovers atm on there setups ?

i'm running Koni sport (yellow) (adjustable) on my c20xe conversion, realy noticed the difference.
I had a lot of other setups but the koni's realy do the job right.

i see on ebay today the FK AK Coilover Set mite go for them

fk's are good mate, thats what im running. but when i had fk coilovers i had problems with the tyres rubbinng and the coilovers them selves.

yea they do run close, check out my project thread for clearance photos, you have to run 195 45 15 tyres because if you run 195 50 the tyres bulge out and rub on the coilovers.
