HID Lighting

Hello m8's well im a new driver and got a corsa b for my 1st car, looking around keep seeing these lights called HID's that give a brighter light, what are they, how you fix them in and are they legal for the road as i don't want my collar felt by the rozza's also are they expensive to buy

H.I.D kits are kind of like xenons and are alot brighter on the road and give much better visability, never fitted any but heard there a simple fit, should get instructions when u buy them, ur looking around about 50 quid for a set and u need to make sure u buy the right bulb type or it wont fit. there not illegal as far as i know, when u buy them u can check how bright they will be as usually u can choose (usually ratted in k i.e 25000k) u may want to check weather there is a legal limit on how bright u can have them. hope this helps

Yea i have seen that they are alot brighter than original headlights, u have to wire them up and fit control units or something called ballast ? and price wise think they cost more than fifty tbh, and my size bulb is h4, they will probably need alignment or could dazzle other drivers and this could get me pulled over i thinks and also need them to pass Mot
