just taking my car for its mot 2 weeks over due... oops

unfortunately it failed. the chassis is rotten and need a piece welding in the size of a 30cm ruler and i have a spring on my suspension which a piece completely snapped off ( that will be the annoying knocking noise it makes) it also failed on some stupid little things that my partner had an attempt at and forgot to connect together again. ( eg. windscreen wipers)

but luckily i m good mates with a guy who owns a garage and i can get everything done dirt cheep.
just wondered whether anyone else had the same problem with theirs. or know of a common problem with corsa\'s, that i should look out for

how olds the car? any mods?

its an m reg i think the year is 1995

i dont currently have any bodywork modifcations

the front section (Under the rad) It looks like the rad leaked a few times in the past and never had the anti freeze rinsed off so its eaten thru the paint and body work.. eek!)

unfortunalty the rotting chassis is a common problem with corsas, coz i also need some welding doing.

now knowing its a common problem its kinda easied my mind a bit. is there anythign else you guys know that happens alot so i can keep my eye on it

yeah mine had a big ol\' rusty patch on my flooring which i had to get some new welded to, mines a N (96) its rusty on the outside too, which will be gone when i eventually get my car resprayed

i have a bit of rust on my bonnet due to stone chips, once its passed it mot im getting it treated and re sprayed

Also, ive noticed on alot of corsas is that the left hand side tail lights seem to have a bad connection on dont work at times.

oh right, ill look out for that. oh the only problem i have with lighting in my drivers side dipped beam bulb keeps jumping out of its hole. might just be mine though

i need to change my passenger side front bulb, its gone again
