hi all bought a wee corsa b 1.2 8v the other day with 73000 on it for 350 quid.
when i got it home
next day in the light
set of wheels for 60 quid
wheels on
all cleaned
there a problem with it tho it starts if it has been sitting for a few hours and gos fine for about 20 mins the starts to die and revs go up and down. from about 2000 to about 100 so no idea whats wrong with it so its just sitting in work untill i have time to working it. put a new carb on the other day and it went fine for about 40 mins the the problem came back. grrr

smart project you've got there mate, your problem could be a few things, idle air control valve, mass air flow meter, or a few other things.

1414 - corsa gsi's on the road in 2008.
735 - corsa gsi's currently on the road and 436 SORN
Basicly you would have to be a right tw*t to break one for parts
