heavy steering

just got a 1993 1.2 ls and the steering seem really heavy for such small car. Could there be a problem or is this normal. Ive got a 1995 punto and that feels like it has power steering(which it hasn\'t) compared to the corsa.

depends on our streneights i guess.

When i do a 3 point turn in my car, yes it is hard to turn but notihng major, its light enough that i could turn the wheel with one finger lol.

also depends on ur types u got bigger alloys or something thatll make a idfference

i haven\'t got alloys just standard wheels and Tyre\'s. I guess i just thought that with it being a small car it would be as light as my punto to steer........Tyre pressure ok to

seems odd, my steering was quite light when i had standard wheels, u get anyshaking etc when you drive at certain speeds? could all be down to tracking or something

all depends on what you were used to driving i spose

could be the tracking on one wheel, had a look at them this morning and the dvrs side seems to be at more of and angle than the other. Doesn\'t pull to one side tho nor do i have any shaking. I\'ll get it done, could probably benefit from some new Tyre\'s to, steering always feels much better when you get new Tyre\'s fitted

yeah my steering vibrates, i just try to ignore it....everything in my car sqeaks and vibrates!

my cuz had heavy steering on his corsa 1.2 merrit , founded out it was a shagged wish bone!!!
