My Corsa 93 1.4Lt is not starting, I checked the gas filter and it is flowing. Gasoline reaches the carburetor but Its not going in, it is not electrical, since I had replaced battery, spark plugs, distributor cap and rotor and checked the cables, also the coil is sparking.
I opened it once (removed the air filter housing) and after a few tries, there was a big spray of gasoline then it started, it ran for a week and then died again and it wont start... Is the part with an electrical connection in the center of the carb the injector? (a black harness where a blue and black wire connect. If taken out It is a plastic knob with a couple of mesh rings and a couple of o-rings on it)
I think this part is the problem because when I took it off a lot of gas splashed out, so it must be building it up inside. I wonder if someone could tell me the real name of the part and an idea of where to get it online, since I am in Norway. Or maybe is something else..... Also I cleaned this part as much as I could, re-inserted it and no luck, though some little smoke starting coming out of the carburator. Took it out again and now the part wont fit completely, I think the O-ring is done, or maybe is the cold. I´d appreciate suggestions. Thanks
here is an image of the part in question, though I cant seem to post it, so here is the link: http://picasaweb.google.com/panizzo/Ran ... 8974434082
