Hey ppl I'm thinking of selling my car or possibly part ex for another ( looking at a corsa c ) but I don't know how muchto put it up for sale for, or how much to expect with a part ex... How much would you ppl put it for if it was yours...

It's a 1999 1.2 16v sxi in black, i would say good condition, small rust patch under rear wiper and on roof, but that's it... No dints in body work... Full service history, 83,000 miles on clock, angle eye headlights and rear lexus lights, with 15 inch alloys, k and n panel filter with de restricted air box.. Has recently had two new tyre on front and also new clutch. Runs sweet as a nut pulls and drives superb...

1200-1500?

i'd say with mileage like that and the mods about 800-900ish

I'll play devil's advocate and go inbetween the prices suggested and say £1000 my guess lol

Matty would the car be worth a little more if I was to put it back to standard then? I have all the original bits and bobs, alloys lights airbox all of it lol... Hmmm I know mileage is a bit of a let down but still less than it Shud have done, and has been looked after..

yh put it back standard if you got the bits, defo the wheels and back lights

yeah i would personaly say put it back to standard, its alot easier to sell a standard car, plus you will get 800-900 for the car or what ever and then another few quid on top of that if you sell all the mods seperatly.

depends on the length of the mot tbh.... if uve got a couple of months left then ud only get around 700 ish but with a full mot (or at least 9 months+) then u cud get 1200 on a good day. but yeh if you have all the standard parts u will make a lot more selling the mods separately

hey thanks for all your replies ppl, yea got all of the standard parts stored cause i wasnt sure about selling with all the mods, still looking for insurance on another car before i look any further into selling insurance is a rip off.. cheapest quote so far for a 2003 1.2 sxi corsa £2300 fully comp.. i have 1 years no claims and thats without doing any mods to the car. i also have a tracker and full alarm system to fit, was gonna put on my car but cba lol..

my car is taxed till september and moted till march but would send it throught a mot befor i sell if i do it privrate..
