what engine mate? if you have a haynes manual, and for a first cambelt change give yourself about an hour or hour and a half of time spare, then you'l just need a good socket set, SOME TIPPEX, good set of eyes and you cant go far wrong
just make sure you follow the haynes and before you take the cambelt off mark all the arrows up on the engine to that on any plastic covers thats are left, then just hilight them with some TIPPEX to make them stand out, remove the belt, install new belt, make sure white lines are still on the same place on the cam pulley/s, then rotate the engine by hand a couple of rotations, then check white lines are still all in place, then hold your breath and turn the key, it should start up
then turn the engine off, give a final check of the white arrows, then put all the guards back on.
its not hard its just alot of checking to make sure you have it all set up right, because if you havent its bye bye engine.
