Whistling noise coming from engine bay

Hi guys,
I own a corsa b 1.2 16v and it has recently developed a weird whistling noise from the engine bag, it may be a pipe or whatever, im guessing it would have to be something to do with the area around the airfilter as that is really the only pipe that deals with air? either that or my car just thinks its supercharged
lol i have pretty much turned the car into a brand new car by replacing all the old 11 year old parts with brand new parts and this is the only bit that annoying me
Any advice would be great
