flashing dash lights.

Post by andy_corsa »

iv got a corsa sport 1.4 16v. the problem is when i put my lights on my clock light bulbs are flashing and also the little clock with the time date and temp on. i know its not my bulbs going to go as they would of just gone and not flash its been like this for 2 months. i sometimes struggle to see what speed i am going in the dark with the dam things. any ideas? could it be a bad earth? if so where would the earth wire be for this?

Have you checked the connections are on properly and not loose ? if they ok, sounds as you may some kind of power shortage going to them somehow.

i really dont know about the battery, i have had the car nearly 2 years and its not had a new one, though the battery does look tatty and looks to have been on a fair while. would you reccomend a bettery and alternator test then?
