screen in glovebox

ok... So today i took out my glove box and measured and playd about for a bit and WHAMMY!

So what im needing for this project is :

10.2" screen on order
Rail
dremel on order
time
patience
AC converter on order
External Harddrive already have

started drawing in Sketchup with the end result being...

This will be running on : Blum Base Fixed Drawer Runner 30kg Single Extension 400mm - Cream
which will be black after im done with them :)

yeah i also just order 2sheets of black neoprene to but on the unit so that the screen wont damage and another to act as shock obsortion for the removeable 2.5" HDD :)

indeed i have thats why i got them rails sliding out and will make it a bit higher,
this will all cost me less then a proper indash dvd..and it will be something unique :)

them convertors aint small either (had one for xbox :L) you be best mounting it somewere under it so u can get access to switch tho i mean not like it needs power all time sure if u made a cover for it u cud put on the shevel below ur glove box ( if u have one ) if not screw it on to it i suppose

well cost you less u seem to know what ur doing :D were as i wud end up with no more nails glue and a screen stuck to the dash :L!

see if your going touch screen wee car pc would be usefull ;) means then movies, music , wifi even ... would be hardest thing in world to do if u get the right screen you just need vga one ( seen one ebay) thought about this all ;) but ive no patience :D

I found this screen on ebay, its perfect and it supports Wifi even HDMi :) and its touch screen!
Ive got a external laptop hardrive worthy of 80GB which i will be able to plug and unplug as i want and the screen has got 2Gb internal memory :)
I just ordered plates for my baby for PVS, although it will only be front plate :)
ive got time and patience on my side,

Every guy loves a "dirty box " :L!

screen wudnt come up .... so right ur useing hard drive and a screen i take it has playback on the screen so tis more like a video photo screen?
