Corsa-B.uk - Vauxhall, Opel and Holden Corsa B Owners Club

Just bought 5w/40 fully synthetic carlube oil for my vauxhall corsa d 2008 model, guide at the store said it was suitable, i checked online and most suggest 5w/30 instead.
Will the 5w/40 be okay to use?

yeah it will be fine. just means its slightly thicker and can withstand lower temperatures.
