Hi Guys,
I have a 1.0l corsa b and i think the timing chain could be going. it has only just hit 50,000
Im not to sure how to tell so i took a video of it and its now on youtube.
I would really appreciate it if anyone could let me know what they think?
And is there anyway to keep it going for longer? I.E more oil changes, I know the timing chain is not a cheap job!:(
Thanks Guys Zack

Re: Bad timing chain?
i'd suggest taking off the cam cover and checking the chain does not feel loose.
the major problem with these is they have a small hydraulic tensioner that keeps the chain tight, which stop working, allowing the chain to go slack.
also there is a guide for the chain underneath the cam cover. take the plugs out and turn the engine over and check oil is being fed out of the small hole in the top the plastic guide.
