hi was just wondering is there a bigger engine either a 1.2 or 1.4 which looks like this engine

i can tell you now that is a 1.0 litre engine m8 - its a lot smaller as its only got 3 cylinders nt four

however yup there is another engine that looks similar and thats the 1.6 which is found in the corsa sport, thats an ecotech the same as the pic

your wrong mate, the engine that looks the same as this is the 1.2 16v, the 1.4 and 1.6 16v engines look totally different.

yeah ano its a 1.0 but a want a bigger 1 which looks the same as that as that 1 struggles to get up a hill lol and takes forever to reach 70

1.2 16v will pull alot beter 1.4 16v ent to much faster than the 1.2 16v
the 16v engines look the same just bit bigger
most of the ecotec engines look the same as the 1litre

none of the 16v engines look the same as the 1L only the 1l 12v, and the 1.2 16v engines look the same. the rest are totally different!!!!!

no the 1.4 16v looks the same cus one of my mates has a 1.2 16v an one has a 1.4 16v ther basicaly identical!!!!

the onli 1l ther is is the 12v the 16v look the same but a bit longer as they have four pistons. i kno the 1.4 16v looks the same but i dnt kno bout the 1.6

ones got a different cover still the same engine, and you go have a look at my mates 1.4 16v engine then

they only came with this engine cover, and they dont make aftermarket ones for them either, go take a photo of your mates engine then, i know my vauxhalls very well. and they dont look anything like. this is my engine bay, and iv had to make my plug cover, but still, it doesnt look anything like the 1.2 16 engine

lol ok if hes still got it, last time it was nr a brewery then he like ran away, not sure if itll be ther but ill go av a look an take a pic if its ther.

so would i have to change anything for the 1.2 to fit in proply

no i dont think you would have to change anything. it should be a straight swap.

ok that good just have to save up for the engine then for the garage to change it lol
