Juddery Acceleration

Hi,
I have Opel Corsa B 1.2 2000 model, today was driving normally when engine light came on, recently it had been coming on about twice a week for 10 sec then
going out.Anyway its on, car started to accelerate normaly then it felt like i had braked, then accelerates then decellarates .
Would like to have some help as dont know what to do.Engine now revs up and down whilst running.

are the revs going up and doen when idling do you mean?

probably by your MAF and maybe your idle control valve.
